The Front End Developer plays a crucial role in creating engaging and user-friendly web applications that enhance the overall digital experience for our users.

Ultimately, the Front End Developer is essential in bridging the gap between design and technology, ensuring that our digital experiences are seamless, engaging, and aligned with the Museum strategy.

Key accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain responsive and visually appealing user interfaces for web applications.
  • Ensure that all front-end components are functional, user-friendly, and aligned with design specifications.
  • Adhere to coding standards and best practices to produce clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design mock-ups and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow between front-end and back-end system.
  • Engage in agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to contribute to project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality features on time.
  • Continuously research and implement new front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance development processes.
  • Share knowledge and insights with team members to foster a culture of learning and improvement.
