Overview

Production Operator – 12-hour Shifts (Oxley, QLD) at CSR Limited. This is a full-time position based at the PGH Bricks site in Oxley, reporting to the Manager. You will be responsible for the operation and production of bricks, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices.

In This Role You Will
  • Prioritise Safety: actively support and promote a safety-first culture; aim for a zero-harm workplace (Never Walk Past principle).
  • Daily Production Support: help maintain and improve daily production targets with your team.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: participate in team-based programs to reduce costs, streamline processes, and increase efficiency.
  • Preventative Maintenance: participate in regular maintenance to ensure smooth and safe operation of equipment.
  • Performance & Collaboration: manage day-to-day tasks proactively and work closely with teammates to maximise productivity.
  • Quality Assurance: perform routine checks to uphold product quality and brick production targets.
  • Keep It Clean & Organised: maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Innovation & Feedback: share ideas with management and contribute to plant improvement projects.
  • Logistics Support: perform forklift duties as part of logistics operations.
What You Bring To The Role
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and wellbeing.

  • Attention to detail, especially regarding safety, quality, and process accuracy.
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, multi-stage manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift license.
  • Strong understanding of production operations.
