About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Architect with 10+ years' experience and strong multi-residential project expertise to join our Melbourne studio.

This role offers the opportunity to take a leadership position on large-scale multi-residential projects, ensuring the seamless integration of design excellence, technical documentation, and delivery. You'll work closely with clients, consultants, and teams to deliver projects that reflect FK's commitment to design quality and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-residential projects from concept to completion, maintaining design integrity throughout.
  • Manage teams, timelines, budgets, and deliverables, proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to deliver the best outcomes for projects.
  • Champion Revit and BIM protocols, ensuring documentation meets FK's standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, reviewing their work to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Present confidently to clients and stakeholders, representing FK with professionalism and impact.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience in architectural practice with demonstrated success leading multi-residential projects.
  • Registered Architect (AIA preferred) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, with proven BIM and documentation experience.
  • In-depth understanding of multi-residential design, delivery, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and team leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards and relevant codes for residential projects.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
