Are you a Captain or 1st Mate looking to step up to your first full-time drive?
Are you based in Sydney with your own accommodation ashore?
Position Snapshot- Sydney based (all year round)
- Approximately 3 day trips per month
A high-profile family is seeking a captain for their first or second permanent command.
The yacht is mainly used for day trips (no overnight stays) in Sydney Harbour and Pittwater regions.
The owner has multiple vessels ranging from 10m to 39m, all based in Sydney. The successful candidate will also support other vessels when the 70' is not in use.
As the vessels are based in Sydney year-round, the captain should have their own accommodation ashore in Sydney.
This position is open to both first-time drive captains and experienced captains.
The captain will have the option to assist with coastal and interstate deliveries on larger vessels.
The Ideal Candidate- Experience driving large tenders or dayboats
- Knowledge of Sydney Harbour and Pittwater
- High level of professionalism
- Versatile all-rounder, capable of washdowns and basic engineering
- Working rights for Australia
- Own accommodation ashore in Sydney
Start date: ASAP
Salary: Commensurate with experience (guide upon application)
