Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Housing Industry Association Limited Full time
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of residential construction projects including smart homes and renovations.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian building codes and safety regulations while promoting operational efficiency.

Turyn Pty Ltd is a future-focused construction company delivering high-quality residential

projects across Greater Sydney. With a strong reputation for architectural excellence and end-

to-end service delivery—from design approvals to smart-home construction and outdoor living

spaces—we are now seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver our

growing portfolio of projects.

About the Role

As a Construction Project Manager at Turyn, you will be responsible for overseeing the full

lifecycle of residential construction projects. This includes managing smart homes, duplexes,

renovations, and outdoor structures. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive operational

efficiency, and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end planning of residential construction projects—including smart

homes, duplexes, and renovations—by setting clear objectives, timelines, budgets, and

resource allocation strategies to meet client expectations and company standards.

Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans, including 3D models and

interior design proposals, to determine the most effective and compliant construction

methodologies tailored to each project's scope and complexity.

Prepare competitive tender submissions and contract proposals, ensuring accurate cost

estimates and timelines. Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to align

deliverables with budgetary and contractual requirements.

Manage the allocation and utilisation of labour, subcontractors, plant, materials, and

equipment across multiple concurrent residential and outdoor construction sites,

ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.

Liaise regularly with clients, architects, certifiers, engineers, contract administrators, and

other key personnel to maintain alignment across all project phases and to promptly

address design or site-related issues.

Ensure all construction activities adhere to Australian building codes, safety regulations,

and environmental standards. Enforce site safety protocols and monitor performance to

uphold quality benchmarks and risk mitigation practices.

Supervise and support on-site teams, including subcontractors and trade professionals,

by providing clear direction, resolving conflicts, and promoting a collaborative work

environment that prioritises timely project delivery.

Track project milestones, financial progress, and operational metrics to ensure timely

delivery and budget control. Manage variations and changes in project scope, ensuring

minimal disruption through effective communication and re-planning.

Establish detailed project delivery plans that support broader business goals, including

customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and innovation in design and construction

practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related

field. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

Minimum five years of proven experience in construction project management,

preferably within residential or architectural housing sectors.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

In-depth knowledge of building codes, WHS legislation, and local council approval

processes.

Proficiency in project scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) and construction

management software (e.g. Revit) is highly regarded.

Why Join Turyn?

Work with an innovative and growing construction firm focused on future-ready homes.

Be part of a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to quality and design excellence.

Competitive salary package and career growth opportunities within the company.
