Junior Data Engineer

About the Opportunity

We're on the lookout for a graduate or early-career Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. You'll be part of a major project to modernise our insurance platform and help shape the way data supports decision-making across the business.

You'll work alongside experienced Data Engineers, Analysts, and Architects to:

• Help build and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory & Synapse
• Work with structured and unstructured data (APIs, CSVs, SQL, etc.)
• Support the transformation of raw data into insightful, usable formats
• Learn and grow within a modern data lakehouse environment

What We're Looking For

• A recent graduate or someone with up to 1 year of experience
• Familiarity with SQL or Python
• A basic understanding of data pipelines or cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Curious mindset, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative approach
