Shadforth are a leading Civil Contractor that have a strong reputation working across a diverse range of projects in Southeast Queensland, including Subdivisions, Infrastructure, Community Projects, and Roadworks. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our in-house survey team to support projects across the Greater Brisbane / Brisbane West Region.

Reporting to the Regional Survey Supervisor, this role is ideally suited to an experienced surveyor wanting to take the next step in their career.

As Part Of Our Team Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Supervision of survey staff and allocation of daily tasks
  • Liaise with construction and engineering teams
  • Carry-out survey tasks across multiple projects
  • Perform calculations and set-up site survey works
  • Perform quality checks during construction
  • Good knowledge of GPS machine guidance and files
  • Trouble shoot problems on site
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS procedures

About You
  • Tertiary qualification in surveying will be held in high regard
  • Previous experience in construction, ideally in civil
  • Skilled in survey related 12D software
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate results
  • Strong work ethic
  • QLD manual driver's licence
