K&R Hydraulics are a well-established Hydraulic Engineering Company located just outside of Newcastle, in the idyllic Hunter region. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Hydraulic Leading Hand / Supervisor to fill a permanent position.

The Opportunity

K&R Hydraulics were established in 1987 and are one of the most reliable, credible and experienced Hydraulic Engineering companies in the Newcastle region. Successful candidates will service an array of SME and blue-chip clientele in industries including mining, heavy and light manufacturing and agriculture.

The role is based out of our modern purpose-built, state of the art facilities in Thornton NSW.

Our exceptional, well-equipped manufacturing facility is one of the best facilities in the state and we reward our committed team with excellent working conditions and a safe and progressive workplace.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will provide high quality Fitting and Supervisory skills in the production and refurbishment of hydraulic cylinders.

The skills and experience essential for success in this role include:

·Trade Qualifications as a Fitter Machinist.

·Post Trade Fluid Power Qualifications.

·Strong experience rebuilding Hydraulic Cylinders.

·Sound knowledge of Hydraulic Seals and current repair methods.

·Minimum 12 months experience in a Supervisory position.

·Ability to motivate others to meet budget and scheduling targets.
