Company Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Landscape Architect / Constructor at Coolth Inc. Living Architecture in Melbourne, VIC. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to landscape planning, design, landscaping, and creating delightful spaces in many of Melbourne's iconic projects.

Role Description

Landscape construction lead for commercial projects.

This position is for a motivated and enthusiastic individual. You are a leader who can take a project from start to finish. You are self-motivated and have exceptional attention to detail. Your ability to work with your team to complete our on-structure landscapes to a very high standard is your key attribute. Project management skills and people skills will be the day-to-day tools in this lead role. You enjoy the responsibility of site supervision with support from our design and project management team, whilst still working in a hands-on landscaping role with a team of varying skill levels. You are confident delivering the key elements of our landscapes which include green roofs, pod and traditional paving, vertical gardens, decking, pergolas, planters, furniture fabrication, concreting, lighting, irrigation, planting with a primary focus on green roofs and on-structure gardens.

Qualifications

  • Landscape Planning, Landscape Design, and Landscape Architecture skills
  • Experience in Landscaping and creating commercial landscapes
  • Knowledge of sustainable construction practices
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field
