Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Architect to join our small but growing design team. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside design and construction professionals on a diverse range of projects, from small renovations to multi-level commercial play spaces.
Your role will involve collaborating with colleagues across disciplines, working on various projects simultaneously, and managing multiple deadlines. You will have the opportunity to progress your career in a supportive and encouraging environment that values growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement landscape design concepts for residential, commercial, educational, and government projects.
- Lead project teams and manage junior staff to deliver high-quality results.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation, communication, and graphic skills throughout the design process.
- Utilize hand drawing representation and skills to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture.
- Minimum 5 years full-time local industry experience or willingness to step up to the challenge.
- Ongoing commitment to becoming an AILA registered Landscape Architect.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and graphic skills.
- Hand drawing representation and skills highly regarded.
- Experience leading project teams and managing junior staff.
- Multitasking efficiency across multiple projects at different stages and deadlines.
