You will be responsible for assisting with and performing any duties that may be required relating to the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and supplies in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate inventory and workflow. This includes performing item counts to maintain an accurate inventory and ensuring compliance with inventory and quality processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities include:

Goods Management: Receive, inspect, store, handle, and dispatch all incoming and outgoing goods at the Roma facility.

Order Verification: Check unloaded goods against order forms/delivery dockets to ensure accuracy.

Stock Organisation: Select and prepare storage spaces, placing materials in designated areas for efficient access.

Inventory Support: Assist with cycle counting and stocktaking tasks as needed.

Stock Assessment: Inspect stock for damage or discrepancies and report findings promptly.

Order Fulfillment: Prepare and disburse orders, maintaining accurate records of issued materials.

Workplace Maintenance: Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organised, and tidy.

Material Allocation: Assist team members in locating required parts or fittings.

Packaging & Shipping: Support the packaging and shipment of completed jobs.

Storage Optimisation: Organise and maintain storage layouts, labelling items with details such as job number, bar stock heat number, or part ID for efficient tracking.

Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other tools to manage warehouse operations.

Team Collaboration: Perform additional warehouse duties under the guidance of the Roma Production Coordinator.

What we'll be looking for in you:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Good problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle changing priorities
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• A positive, proactive, and safety-conscious attitude
