Your responsibilities

· Business partner with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to deliver on brand strategies across all customers, including supporting new product development and range extension plans, and identifying gross margin improvement initiatives

· Develop and review joint business plans made between Reckitt and our external customers to ensure that opportunities are mutually beneficial and drive the correct behaviours.

· Review any ad-hoc/incremental investment opportunities to assess and improve profitability, and provide challenge to ensure that financials and assumptions are robust

· Pre and post promotional evaluation, providing deep insight and challenge to financials.

· Review and challenge monthly customer and brand forecasts, driving accuracy of the forecasting process.

· Proactively highlight future performance concerns and opportunities to the Sales, Marketing & Finance Leadership teams and account teams, taking an active role in planning any gap close activity.

· Perform key tasks within the Commercial Finance team to ensure that reporting is both timely & accurate.

· Provide management with relevant financial information as requested.

· Monitor monthly trade spend for your Customer to ensure correct accrual bookings at month end and appropriate balance sheet reconciliations for trade spend vs expected claims

· Develop and review marketing forecasts for your Brand and monitor actual spend to ensure costs are within budget / forecast

· Work within the team to develop new tools & systems to improve ROI review

· No control surprises for your Customer Group through the following; integrity of Siebel accruals, pricing schedules, bonus calculations, rebate approvals, annual contract reviews etc

· Other duties as required.
