Overview

You will join a federal government client as an Enterprise Integration Business Analyst. The role focuses on bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring systems and services are designed with end-users in mind. You will analyse, document, and communicate requirements for complex software systems while working within a multidisciplinary agile delivery team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis activities across pre-discovery, discovery, design, and delivery phases
  • Design and facilitate workshops and interviews with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder groups and foster a collaborative working environment
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories
  • Analyse data flows, system interfaces, APIs, and technical documentation to inform design
  • Work with architects, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure requirements traceability
  • Develop and maintain process models, wireframes, data models, and interface specifications
  • Support product backlog management and contribute to Agile ceremonies
  • Communicate risks and solutions clearly in a complex and changing environment
  • Promote a positive workplace culture
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of government security ISM guidelines and IRAP standards
  • Familiarity with Micro Focus Fortify, SailPoint, and ServiceNow
  • Demonstrated integrity while achieving results within legislative and policy frameworks
Qualifications
  • Business process modelling and optimisation using BPMN or similar frameworks
  • Mapping and analysing system integrations across cloud and legacy platforms
  • Aligning business analysis outputs with enterprise architecture and strategic goals
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Experience with Git, YAML, ARM, and Bicep
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud platforms
  • Experience with systems integration, APIs, and data modelling
  • Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps for backlog management and release planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience collaborating within agile delivery teams
  • National Police Check might be required as part of pre-employment screening
