About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced auditor to join our team at BSI.

Purpose of the Position
  • To conduct on-site audits against relevant standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.) or specifications.
  • To provide expertise, produce surveillance and initial audit reports, and make recommendations for certification decisions.
  • To promote BSI's product offering and solutions to clients, improving their business performance, managing risk, and achieving excellence.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Undertake management system audits in accordance with BSI requirements and Our Client Promise.
  • Prepare audit reports and deliver findings to clients for clear direction and corrective action where necessary.
  • Recommend certificate issuance, re-issuance, or withdrawal, reporting recommendations in accordance with BSI policy and procedures.
  • Lead audit teams, ensuring quality service, effective working relationships, and client satisfaction.
  • Establish partnerships, securing commercial relationships and business development opportunities.
  • Provide accurate information to support services, maintaining up-to-date client records and meeting internal requirements.
  • Plan workloads to maximize revenue-earning activity and coach colleagues as needed.
  • Maintain and develop auditor skills and technical knowledge of management system standards.
  • Provide technical support to clients through business development, sales, and customer service staff.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for BSI, promoting services to optimize business performance.
Candidate Specification
  • Qualifications and/or experience in a relevant industry or discipline, with comprehensive knowledge of business processes and systems.
  • Commercial understanding of industry compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
  • Flexible, with excellent time management and planning skills, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel intensively.
  • An enthusiastic and committed team player with good public speaking and business development skills.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards and quality management, environmental, and health & safety management preferred.
  • External/Third-party management systems auditing experience preferred.
Key Performance Indicators and Our Client Promise
  • Be the BSI Brand Ambassador.
  • Work with scheduling and planning to ensure bookings 3-6 months ahead, aiming for seamless audit transitions.
  • Produce high-quality, accurate, and professional client reports within specified deadlines.
  • Discuss Driving Force opportunities with clients, aiming for 2 leads per month.
  • Achieve 100% productivity, exceed delivery targets, and maintain/gain T/P/I code.
