We are looking for an experience Business Development Manager to focus on the Parramatta/Western Sydney area. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and generating leads to expand our client base.

The role will work closely with the Sales Manager and marketing team to achieve the sales goals.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the events and hospitality sector
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Create and deliver compelling offers tailored to client needs and event objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and strategies to attract target clients
  • Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to generate leads
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts, ensuring alignment with client expectations
  • Track sales performance and report regularly on targets, forecasts, and KPIs
  • Work closely with operations and event planning teams to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings
  • Manage CRM tools to maintain accurate records of prospects, communications, and sales activity
  • Sales & Negotiation: Proven track record of closing high-value deals, upselling services, and negotiating win-win outcomes
  • Solution Selling: Skilled at identifying client needs and crafting tailored event solutions that meet business objectives
  • Opportunity Spotting: Strong ability to uncover new sales opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building
  • Consultative Approach: Confident in guiding clients through the sales process by asking the right questions and positioning value
  • Target Driven: Highly motivated by KPIs and revenue goals, with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Pipeline Management: Expert at managing leads through every stage of the sales funnel to ensure a healthy pipeline and strong conversion rates
  • Closing Expertise: Knows when and how to confidently close deals and secure commitments from decision-makers
  • Persuasive Communication: Able to present ideas clearly and influence client decisions through compelling pitches and proposals
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Focused on building trust and delivering solutions that ensure long-term client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Resilience & Drive: Tenacious and results-oriented, able to bounce back from objections and keep momentum going
