What does a Financial Planner do?

As a financial planner, you'll work closely with individuals to understand their financial goals, create personalised strategies, and provide advice that helps them achieve financial security. What does your day-to-day look like?

  • Strategy development: Design and present personalised financial plans, including savings, investment, insurance, and tax strategies.
  • Ongoing advice and support: Build long-term relationships by reviewing and adapting financial plans as clients' needs evolve.
  • Market research: Stay informed about the latest financial products, trends, and regulations.
  • Professional development: Participate in training sessions and pursue further studies, such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) accreditation.

We're looking for someone who has:
  • Degree qualifications within the past three years in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Financial Planning, or related disciplines
  • AUS/NZ Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident status
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build meaningful client relationships
  • Analytical thinking to design and adapt financial strategies
  • Eagerness to learn and a passion for the financial planning industry
