Job Description

We are seeking driven and motivated individuals to join our team as Graduate Sourcing Officers. This is a 12-month immersive program designed to unlock your potential and equip you with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience to excel in your chosen career.

As a Graduate Sourcing Officer, you will work alongside industry leaders on various projects and initiatives that shape and connect our community. The Graduate Sourcing Officer role involves delivering impactful procurement outcomes, supporting complex categories, navigating enterprise financial systems to extract and analyze procurement spend analytics, and helping shape sourcing success at one of Australia's largest councils.

This opportunity will work within Chief Procurement Office streams including procurement, contract management, and compliance. We are seeking outcome-focused individuals with technical skills, professionalism, and a positive team attitude, with an aptitude for:

  • assisting with tenders, evaluations, and negotiations
  • building on your communication and stakeholder engagement skills

To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a recognized bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification from a tertiary institution, completed within the last two years or be completing prior to the commencement of the program in February. Applicants must have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program and be able to work full-time.
