Job Description

We are expanding our team in Penrith and are looking to welcome a passionate and dedicated independent Registered Psychologist Contractor to make a positive impact in our community.

We seek Registered Psychologists in Penrith with experience working with NDIS participants.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of NDIS Participants across the lifespan and from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds, completing therapeutic processes efficiently.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, interpret findings, and collaboratively set and achieve goals aligned with NDIS Plans.
  • Deliver person-centred, tailored interventions with a systemic focus, including therapeutic support and stakeholder training.
  • Monitor and respond to signs of risk and acute distress during therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide written reports to NDIS outlining progress and ongoing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Current general registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and writing skills.
  • Relevant insurances including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Active ABN.
