Purpose of the Role

The purpose of the Commercial Analyst role is to deliver actionable sales and market insights that drive Smartways' commercial strategy and growth. This role supports key stakeholders by analysing sales data, forecasting performance, and evaluating pricing and contract profitability to optimise revenue and customer acquisition. Through collaboration across teams and effective use of analytical tools, the Commercial Analyst helps ensure informed decision-making that advances business objectives in the fast-paced healthcare logistics sector.

What You'll Do

  • Analyse sales data and market trends to uncover opportunities and challenges
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel
  • Maintain profitability models, conduct scenario planning, and support forecasting
  • Evaluate pricing strategies, contract terms, and customer profitability
  • Assist in market research, competitor analysis, and contract management
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align commercial goals
  • Utilise CRM/HubSpot data to generate insights and troubleshoot system issues
  • Support business cases for new sales initiatives and product launches

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Logistics or related field
  • 2–3 years' experience in commercial or sales analysis, preferably in logistics or healthcare
  • Strong skills in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting tools like Power BI and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present complex info clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
