About the RoleYou will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated social worker to join the Social Work Department at RPAH. You will be part of a large, dedicated and highly skilled department working with culturally and socially diverse patients and their families. The position is also required to provide support to other areas within the hospital as required. Applicants are advised that at times the position involves working with vulnerable people and people experiencing trauma. Applicants are also advised that this position includes ongoing participation in the after-hours on call crisis service, including weekends. We appreciate that Social Work in public health can be both challenging and rewarding, and we have a suite of wellbeing initiatives occurring across the department to make sure we're caring for ourselves as well as our patients.

Ideal Candidate- Holds a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Knowledge, skills and clinical experience in Social Work clinical practice.
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
