The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for the co-ordination and follow through to completion of all aspects of projects and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a program of BMS Controls and Electrical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and define deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and successful delivery.
  • Prepare project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate updates to stakeholders, and ensure effective communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, technical specifications, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of required equipment and materials.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project requirements and client expectations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during the project.
  • Ability to create Safety Plans and SWMS as required for projects including monitoring the team to ensure they are being upheld.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Building Services Management.
  • Proven Experience within a similar role as a Project Manager within the HVAC/BMS Industry.
  • Develop and deliver margin improvement strategies.
  • Ability to develop and implement budgets.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
