Overview

Marano's Fuel is growing, and we're on the lookout for full-time Fuel Truck Drivers to join our dedicated team based in Cairns, QLD. If you're a reliable, safety-conscious driver looking to work with a supportive team and a modern fleet, this could be the opportunity for you.

Role

Based out of Cairns QLD, as a Driver for Marano's Fuel, you will be responsible for delivering to our large customer base across North QLD including; Service Stations, Marine Vessels, Tourism Businesses, Agriculture/Farms, local Council's and more There are opportunities for both short-haul and long-haul work, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete pre-start vehicle maintenance checks
  • Pre-load and unload fuel tankers per scheduled load plans and customer requirements
  • Manage fatigue and maintain Work Diaries and MT Data
  • Represent Marano's Fuel with professionalism
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation
  • Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
  • Carry out all duties within set timeframes and follow instructions.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Current HR or HC Licence
  • MC highly desirable
  • Dangerous Goods Licence (essential, or willing to obtain before commencing)
  • Ability to drive 18-speed Road Ranger (essential)
  • Physically fit and safety focused
  • Experience delivering fuel is highly sort after, but training is available
  • SLP (Safe Load Pass) is a bonus
  • Experience with BFM & MT Data systems is desirable, but not essential
  • Basic computer skills
