Medico-Legal Clerk role at Bendigo Advertiser
Employment Type: Permanent Part Time | Hours Per Week: 38 | Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 3 | Remuneration: $34.46 per hour - $35.54 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging

We're looking for a sharp, organised admin professional to support our Medico-Legal team in handling sensitive legal and health records. You\\u2019ll work closely with agencies like Police, FACS, and the Coroner, ensuring all document requests are accurate, timely, and confidential.
What You'll Do- Manage and prioritise medico-legal requests
- Process subpoenas, Chapter 16A, and High Risk Birth Alerts
- Ensure compliance with health privacy laws and policies
- Maintain and report on medico-legal databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience handling confidential information (public sector a plus)
- Knowledge of Chapter 16A or medical records systems (desirable)
- On-the-job training (DMR, iPM, CAP, Microsoft Suite)
- A friendly, supportive team and great admin coordinator
