At Ecolab's Nalco Water division, we help some of Australia and New Zealand's biggest brands optimise water use, reduce waste, and operate more sustainably. And now, we're inviting you to be part of that journey—with a role that puts you at the heart of innovation, relationships, and real-world environmental impact.
About The Role
This is more than just a service role - it's a chance to become a trusted partner to one of our key clients in the steel industry, based in Wollongong. You'll join a warm, collaborative team that values curiosity, problem-solving, and the power of strong client relationships. We'll support you with world-class training from day one - so if you're passionate, hands-on, and ready to grow, we'll help you thrive.
Whether you've recently graduated or have a few years under your belt, this is your opportunity to step into a technical role where you'll feel challenged, supported, and empowered.
In This Role You Will Be
- Building long-lasting relationships with stakeholders who trust your expertise
- Using your skills to create smarter, more sustainable water solutions
- Helping to reduce water waste and corrosion through thoughtful process control
- Exploring how digital tools and data can optimise environmental outcomes
- Being part of a business that values your input and supports your development
You don't need to tick every box, but here's what will set you up for success:
- A degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or similar)
- A desire to understand how things work—and make them work better
- Strong communication skills - you enjoy building rapport and explaining solutions
- A flexible, solutions-focused mindset, with a readiness to work varied hours
- Interest or exposure to water treatment
- A proactive attitude - you're someone who sees opportunity and takes action
- Best-in-class training - we'll give you everything you need to grow your technical and commercial confidence
- A supportive team culture where your voice matters
- The satisfaction of working on solutions that have a real environmental impact
- Opportunities to grow your career across Australia, New Zealand and beyond
- Flexibility and autonomy to make the role your own
Our three behavioural shifts are People First, One United ANZ Ecolab Team and Owning the Outcome.
At Ecolab, we believe in diverse perspectives and inclusive growth. If you're looking for a role where you can grow your technical skills, build trusted partnerships, and help drive meaningful environmental change—we'd love to hear from you.
