    Your role

    Join Us as a Project Officer – HCEA Strategy Unit Allocations Team

    Ready to make things happen? As Project Officer, you'll be the central link that keeps strategy flowing—coordinating requests, supporting high-impact initiatives, and leading small projects that sharpen systems and strengthen collaboration. Your work will bring clarity, pace, and connection to everything we do.

    What You'll Do

    As part of the HCEA Strategy Unit Allocations team, you'll play a key role in coordinating workflow and allocations, supporting executive priorities, and improving systems and processes that keep the unit running smoothly.

    In This Role, You Will
    • Manage and triage incoming requests
    • Support strategic and operational projects
    • Coordinate stakeholder communications
    • Deliver targeted project work
    • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency

    You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values trust, equity, and shared responsibility. The work environment is inclusive, fast-paced, and purpose-driven—focused on improving outcomes for children and young people.

    What We're Looking For

    We're seeking proactive professionals passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.

    You'll Bring
    • Knowledge of child protection and Out-of-Home Care (OOHC)
    • Strong organisation, time management, and writing skills
    • Interest in writing for diverse audiences
    • Familiarity with Miniapp and Trim (preferred)
    • A collaborative mindset and a can-do attitude
