Job Description
  • Assist with the implementation of environmental management plans to meet regulatory and company standards
  • Monitor environmental performance metrics, delivering clear and actionable reports
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to identify risks and drive mitigation strategies
  • Prepare and submit compliance documentation to relevant authorities
  • Advise on environmental policies, procedures, and legislative changes
  • Support initiatives that enhance environmental impact and community engagement
  • Liaise with stakeholders to address concerns and explore opportunities for improvement
The Successful Applicant

A successful Environmental Officer should have:

  • A relevant qualification in environmental science, environmental management, or a related field.
  • Experience in environmental compliance within the energy and natural resources industry.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports and managing environmental data.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
