Join us at Armidale Perioperative Services / Day Surgery Unit - a state-of-the-art facility opened in 2018, designed with modern equipment and a supportive environment for staff and patients. Armidale is a vibrant regional city with culture, education, and natural beauty. It has around 25,000 residents and is home to the University of New England. The area offers convenient access to Sydney and Brisbane via daily flights, as well as bus and train services.

About The Role

You'll support patients during admission and discharge for surgical procedures, focusing on people rather than processes. The unit emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and high-quality care, offering opportunities to build skills in a dynamic perioperative environment. Shifts are 8 hours across the week and weekends, with hours spanning 7am–6:30pm.

About You

You're a proactive, compassionate nurse who thrives in a team-based, fast-paced environment. You bring strong time-management, clear communication and a collaborative mindset, and demonstrate initiative, punctuality and respect in your day-to-day practice. You're eager to learn and grow, with knowledge of or willingness to develop skills in ACCORN, AS5369, GENCA and infection-control principles. Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts across weekdays and weekends is essential.

Requirements

• You're an Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed where applicable) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
