Your New Role

Currently looking for a 12-month contract opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Member Operations Group and support the delivery of strategic projects across the Fund.

In this role you will be responsible for solving business problems for business stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvements, providing recommendations, gathering and qualifying business requirements and the development of various artifacts to ensure the successful implementation of new software, digital products and/or business process changes.

The successful applicant will contribute through both independent and collaborative thinking to the design, development and delivery of innovative business solutions and improvement initiatives for AustralianSuper and its members.

This is a business Senior Business Analyst not a technology Senior Business Analyst.

What Youll Need

Responsibilities

• Supports the successful delivery of defined project objectives.
• Understands and can document the current and future states of the relevant business processes.
• Documents, manages, prioritises, and validates functional and non-functional requirements.
• Understands the value proposition of initiatives and can prioritise well to help achieve business outcomes.
• Independently builds rapport with stakeholders and understands stakeholder challenges and pain points
• Effective executive messaging/communication skills to all levels in the organisation
• Identifies and engages stakeholders up to executive level and uses stakeholder management methodologies to both determine and manage influence, interest, and power.

What Youll Need

• Preferred 5 years plus of business analysis experience, ideally within Superannuation.
• Previous experience exposure to working in various project environments and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile.
• Previous experience of projects with call centers in Financial Services.
• An ability to consistently write requirements and/or user stories of high quality and with great attention to detail.
• Extensive experience in developing, organising, prioritising, verifying, and validating requirements.
• Excellent people skills and a collaborative approach to work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Independently work through problems and present recommendations to stakeholders.
