Overview

Nursery Room Leader - Early Childhood Education at Little Zak's Academy, Corrimal. The role focuses on leading the Nursery Room (ages 0-1) and delivering high-quality, inclusive learning programs in partnership with the Centre Director.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor educators to achieve excellence and maintain strong professional relationships within the team.
  • Lead and develop the team to deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for each child in your room.
  • Ensure that all documentation of children\'s learning is visible, accessible to families, and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
  • Maintain a high level of health and safety standards at all times.
About you
  • A Certificate III/Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Unrestricted full-time working rights in Australia
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Strong computer skills
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A current approved First Aid/CPR/Asthma and Anaphylaxis/Child Protection training, or willingness to obtain
