About the role:

We are currently seeking a motivated Personal Care Worker to join our team in Bendigoon aPermanent Part-Timebasis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to our aged care clients within an in-home care setting. We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours, preferably on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8am - 3 30pm.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients at home with personal care tasks like showering, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients to stay independent by helping them go out for shopping, appointments, and community activities.
  • Communicate any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
  • Maintain client privacy and dignity, and encourage the same among team members and contractors.
  • Report consumer risks to management, including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values.
  • Attend regular scheduled training to maintain your level of skill.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Based in Bendigo or nearby suburbs.
  • Available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8am - 3 30pm.
  • Completed Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or above.
  • Current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
  • Medication endorsed.
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in an In-Home Care setting.
  • Current Australian Driver's license and access to a registered and vehicle with insurance.
