About the role

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in mining operations? As our Senior Advisor – Risk and Compliance, you'll be a trusted expert driving risk management and sustainability across open-cut, underground, and ore processing environments. This is your opportunity to support the management and continuous improvement of our critical risk control programs, influence operational safety, and provide hands-on support to a dynamic and collaborative team. Step into a role where your leadership and technical expertise will enhance performance and strengthen compliance across Mungari.

Choose the roster that best suits your lifestyle - 8:6 FIFO from Perth or take up the option to be based residentially in Kalgoorlie (relocation assistance provided within Australia).

You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and safety focused on the following priorities.

• Championing Risk Frameworks : - maintaining and implement the risk Framework in alignment with Evolution standards and legislative requirements.
• Risk Management Coordination : – strategically supporting the business in scheduled reviews and updates of Material and Critical Risk Management Plans within broader risk management programs.
• Advising with Impact : - providing expert guidance and hands-on support to management across safety and risk systems.
• Driving Change : collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver the Management of Change program effectively and sustainably.

About you

You're a natural influencer with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with managers, superintendents, and supervisors to promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement. Your coaching and mentoring skills empower stakeholders at all levels, while your knack for knowledge sharing fosters collaboration and continuous improvement. With a sharp focus on planning and delivering business results, you thrive in dynamic environments and know how to turn strategy into action

Can you tick the following criteria?

• Minimum 3+ years in risk and compliance or senior health & safety roles
• Must have prior experience working on a mine site (operational highly desired)
• Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or Risk (essential)
• Additional credentials in Risk Management, Change Management, or Cert IV TAE (desirable)
• Experience with INX (essential), Forward CRM (desirable), and strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Exposure to ICAM investigations (desirable) and a Lead Auditing qualification (highly desirable)
• A proactive mindset with the ability to influence, coach, and mentor across all levels
• Strong stakeholder engagement and a proven track record in planning and delivering business results
