Reporting directly to the Strata and Property Services Commissioner, this role is responsible for driving key government and regulatory priorities through effective engagement, education, professional standards uplift and compliance initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
As Principal Advisor, you'll lead a team in transforming how property services are delivered and regulated across NSW. You will:
- D rive strategic initiatives to improve consumer protection and industry standards,
- B uild strong relationships with government, industry and community stakeholders,
- D eliver education and uplift initiatives to support regulatory reform,
- L ead research and data-informed projects that tackle key risks and harms in the sector,
- Create meaningful improvements in compliance, licensing, conduct and professional standards,
- Promote transparency, fairness and trust across the sector.
What We're Looking For
You're someone who thrives in a dynamic leadership environment and brings a balance of strategic thinking and practical delivery. You have:
- D emonstrated experience in leading a team,
- E xperience in managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships within a regulatory environment,
- Prove n ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines,
- A passion for innovation, building a positive culture and delivering public value,
- A deep understanding of the NSW strata and property services regulatory landscape.
