Overview

Join to apply for the Lead Business Analyst role at Auto & General Australia. We are seeking a seasoned Business Analysis Lead to support the Head of Business Analysis in developing and implementing scalable, agile-aligned BA processes, frameworks, and templates across the organisation. You will lead a centralised BA function that mentors and supports decentralised Business Analysts, fostering collaboration, consistency, and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and coach Business Analysts across teams, driving best practices aligned with Auto & General's environment and regulatory requirements
  • Design and implement adaptable BA methodologies, capability frameworks, artefacts, and templates tailored for a dynamic, regulated environment
  • Promote a "compliance by design" culture throughout the organisation
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in BA practices and tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
  • 8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, Senior BA, or Lead BA in complex, regulated environments
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities, including coaching BA teams
  • Deep expertise in BA tools, frameworks, and agile delivery methodologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience developing and implementing BA capability frameworks, processes, and templates
  • Ability to foster a culture of agility, innovation, and compliance
  • Previous experience in a BA Centre of Excellence or Practice is highly desirable
Location and Employment

Location: All Sites. We are recruiting for multiple positions across Brisbane and Sunshine Coast locations. Specific roles and locations will be confirmed if shortlisted. Our Toowong office is close to the city with easy public transport and parking options; North Lakes offices are near retail areas; Kawana office offers water views and proximity to the beach.
