Haircare Group (HCG)
Haircare Group is the trusted partner of the professional hair industry. We are proudly Australian, family-owned company with over 50 years in business, founded by a hairdresser for hairdressers. We are widely recognised as an industry leader in building brands and distributing haircare products and services across Australia and New Zealand.
Your Role
As Group Compliance Manager, you'll lead compliance strategy and execution across evo, Haircare Group, and Gauvin Group. You'll manage product compliance and regulatory readiness across multiple global jurisdictions, ensuring quality frameworks, audit systems, and documentation are consistently maintained and improved.
Your leadership will ensure we're always ahead of changing regulations — from AICIS to MOCRA — and that our products meet the highest standards, everywhere we operate.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensure product compliance/authority registration/market registration is conducted accurately and achieved in a timely manner
- Maintain evo's compliance framework, registrations, packaging, testing to ensure adherence to all relevant jurisdiction laws and policies
- Collaborate with Legal, R&D, and Purchasing departments to monitor the enforcement of standards and regulations.
- Oversee all aspects of compliance and quality assurance on all products, assessing and reporting on incidents and breaches
- Maintain supplier, contractor, and regulatory authority relationships ensuring proactive outcomes for evo
- audit third party facilities in line with goods manufacturing practices
GG & HCG Compliance
- Oversee compliance and authority reporting/registration (e.g. AICIS, Ozone, GS1)
- Manage the compliance framework for GG & HCG, ensuring full adherence to local and international laws
- Oversee product import processes and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, consultants, and regulatory bodies
What we're looking for:
- 4–6 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role
- Strong knowledge of international regulatory standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and proactive individual
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Resilience and ability to change
