The Opportunity

Extend, part of The Extend Group, is looking for an OSHC Service Assistant at St Michael's College in Beverley to play, teach, and care for children in a safe learning environment in Outside School Hours Care.

The Role
  • Provide after school care from 3:05 PM to 6:00 PM.
  • Assist in delivering daily quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and educational.
  • Supervise and support children.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options.
  • Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.
About You
  • Engaging and warm personality.
  • Strong focus on child safety and understanding of mandatory reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or be studying towards it, or equivalent.
  • Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.
  • Willing to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
  • Child Protection Certificate.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday (mandatory).
