Overview

Greencross Kenmore is a close-knit, welcoming team that thrives on delivering high-quality care in a relaxed and enjoyable work environment. We are a fully equipped clinic located in the Western suburbs of Brisbane, about 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD. We are stress-free accredited and are equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, IM3 dental, Bair Hugger, and separate cat and dog wards. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Part Time Veterinary Nurse to join our growing clinic. The role offers 25 hours per week (permanent part-time).

We are a highly supportive team that celebrates personal achievements and development, providing ongoing continuing education opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with consultations, surgeries, and patient care
  • Performing nursing duties such as administering medications, managing treatments, and monitoring anaesthetics
  • Providing excellent customer service and client education
  • Handling medical records and updating patient information
  • Working collaboratively with our skilled veterinary team to provide the best care for our patients
Qualifications
  • Hold a recognised veterinary nursing qualification (Cert IV or equivalent)
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in a veterinary nursing role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for animal care with a compassionate, professional approach
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
