About the role

As an Infrastructure and Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping and protecting our digital environment. You'll drive innovation while ensuring resilience across our technology systems.

• Manage server, cloud, and network environments to maintain critical services.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives, monitoring threats and implementing protective controls.
• Design and deliver infrastructure and cloud solutions using best practice frameworks.
• Partner with stakeholders and vendors to deliver secure, reliable outcomes.

About the team

The Transformation group drives organisational innovation, change management, and continuous improvement across Housing Choices Australia. It leads initiatives designed to enhance operational effectiveness, streamline service delivery, and build capacity to adapt to evolving housing demands and technological advancements. This group ensures the organisation remains agile and responsive, well-positioned to meet future challenges and opportunities.

About you

You will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in IT and/or significant experience in infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, and Microsoft products.
• Experience leading IT infrastructure changes and security improvements.
• ITIL certification (essential); Prince2/PMP (desirable).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
