OverviewThe Executive Services Officer is responsible for the provision of high quality, professional executive level support to the Office of the Chief Operating Officer. The role coordinates a wide range of business and administrative tasks and provides a high level of support to the Chief Operating Officer, Assistant Commissioner, Statewide Planning and Coordination and the office more broadly.
Responsibilities- Provide high quality executive support to senior leaders and the Office of the Chief Operating Officer.
- Coordinate business and administrative tasks and support services as required.
- This role is located at one of our Head Office buildings in Kedron (Brisbane Northside).

Attributes and capabilities- Demonstrated understanding, or the ability to rapidly acquire a thorough understanding of the structure, roles, functions and services of the QAS and the Department of Health.
- Proven capability and experience in providing high quality business and executive support to senior executives with strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
- Experience in office administration and management of business processes and reporting, and coordination of diary, travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and ability to prepare correspondence in accordance with departmental style guide requirements.
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, consult and influence across stakeholders.
- Well-developed research and evaluation skills with the capacity to develop options and strategies for executive support and business requirements to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and possession of a C class driver's licence may be required.
