Together we're building hope and possibility for all.Find out more and .**Your Opportunity: Support People into Safe, Secure Housing**Join our team as an **IHR Case Worker** and make a real impact by supporting singles, couples, and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. In this role, you'll provide flexible, person-centred support to help clients access immediate housing options and transition into long-term, secure accommodation.You'll work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to apply early intervention strategies, strengthen tenancy skills, and reduce housing stress for vulnerable individuals and families.**Key Responsibilities:*** Provide person-centred case management to clients accessing immediate housing responses.* Support clients to transition from short-term accommodation into long-term, sustainable housing.* Apply early intervention approaches to prevent homelessness and reduce tenancy stress.* Collaborate with internal teams and external services to coordinate wraparound support.* Build strong relationships with clients, empowering them to develop the skills needed to maintain tenancies.* Maintain accurate records and contribute to service reporting and evaluation.**Requirements for Success:*** Relevant degree with at least 1 years' experience or less formal qualification with substantial years of relevant experience* Strong understanding of housing systems and tenancy support.* Skilled in managing complex caseloads and delivering therapeutic interventions.* Professional approach with the ability to maintain clear boundaries.* Experience working with diverse stakeholders and service providers.* Excellent communication, administrative, and organisational skills.Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.**Your benefits*** Rewarding work – every day you know you're making a real difference* Not-for-profit salary packaging, reducing your tax (details via )* Free external, confidential counselling and access to* Volunteering opportunities* Opportunity to purchase additional annual leave* Extra leave including Mission Australia Thank You Day & Work Anniversary Day off**Our culture**Our innovative and inclusive culture will ensure you feel valued at Mission Australia as you help Australians in need and develop in your career.We prioritise the safety and wellbeing of everyone, both within our team and the individuals we serve.We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive working environment.
