About the roles

gforce has numerous casual positions available for experienced Maintenance Workers to work on local government road maintenance crews in Ballarat.

Responsibilities
  • Repairing and patching potholes and road surfaces
  • Operating small plant, hand tools, and machinery
  • Clearing drains, gutters, and debris from roadways
  • Installing and repairing road signs, guardrails, and line marking
  • Traffic management and setting up safety signage/barriers
  • Routine inspections and reporting hazards or damage
  • General labouring, site clean-up, and assisting crew members
Requirements
  • HR Truck licence and experience essential
  • Front end loader and excavator experience desirable
  • Road maintenance experience essential
  • Line marking experience desirable
  • Concreting experience desirable
  • Physically fit for labouring duties essential
  • Able to work in a team and follow instructions
  • Pass police check and drug + alcohol test
  • PPE includes steel cap boots and hi-vis
