The Position

  • Title: Business Analyst
  • Salary per year: $110,000 - $145,000 - excluding superannuation (dependent upon experience)
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: 1 FTE – 76 hour per fortnight
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Bendigo
  • Other Requirements: Employee Working With Children Check, National Police Check (or valid VIT) Drivers License
  • Potential start date: October 2025


About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

About You

  • Proven success as a Business Analyst supporting large-scale enterprise system implementations.
  • Strong capability in mapping, analysing, and improving business processes across complex environments.
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience interpreting data to deliver insights and inform strategy.
  • Understanding of project and change management principles, with experience supporting transformation initiatives.
  • Highly skilled in capturing business needs, identifying current and future state scenarios, and producing clear documentation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, or a related field, with a commitment to professional growth—project/change management certification highly regarded.

Magnify Sandhurst

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment.

Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students.

The Magnify Sandhurst program combines evidence-based practices in teaching and learning to support each student's unique needs, strengths, and goals, focusing on strengthening core areas like literacy and numeracy, building supportive classroom environments, and integrating Catholic values in daily learning.
