Position OverviewHelp provide the latest best practice services for anyone who needs it. Gain skills with Australia's largest provider of government-funded hearing care. This is a permanent, part-time position – 2 days/week on Thursdays and Fridays (8:30am-5:30pm), working onsite at the Gladstone location.
Responsibilities- Greet clients and attend to all counter and telephone enquiries.
- Handle reception duties and general administration, including booking appointments, processing claims, data entry, and reporting.
- Engage extensively with clients from diverse backgrounds, including children, adults, multicultural, and Indigenous communities.
- Perform minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting.
- Assist Clinicians with clinical services by identifying client needs, providing advice, and demonstrating hearing aid use.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and responsibility-taking attitude.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, with familiarity with mobile technology (Apple and Android).
- A desire to contribute to a meaningful organization that makes a difference in clients' lives.
