Community Support Worker - Mounties Care Robina QLD

Sanctuary Care provide in-home care for clients so they can enjoy living independently with a little help from us.

We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Care to provide support for our clients across Robina, QLD, on a casual or part-time basis.

About The Role

Focused on in-home care, we help clients remain independent with support from our team.

Responsibilities
  • Accompanying clients during daily activities, running errands and going on outings
  • Food preparation and shopping
  • Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
  • Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
  • Providing social interaction and companionship
  • Transport to appointments
About You

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification — essential
  • Previous experience in aged care or disability — at least one year
  • NDIS clearance — or willing to obtain
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Current Police Check — or willing to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate including CPR — or willing to obtain
  • Own car and relevant insurances
  • Dementia care qualification — desirable
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
