Your New Role
As the Lead Facilitator, you will be instrumental in fostering the growth of students and staff by designing and delivering impactful events, training programs and projects. Your role will include conducting regular cultural awareness and safety workshops. You will also collaborate with the team to provide integrated services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
Lead, develop, and deliver the University's First Nations Training Programs for staff and students.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
Support the Senior Training Manager in initiatives to enhance access to higher education for First Nations people, including high school students.
This Continuous| Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $87K – $94K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you'll bring to the role:
A relevant tertiary qualification and demonstrated experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience.
Demonstrated understanding of First Nations peoples, histories and cultures, along with a genuine commitment to sharing, educating and promoting this knowledge.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, stakeholders, and the community.
An understanding of the issues that impact on First Nations people in contemporary society.
Organisational time and workload management skills.
