Altus Group is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 5-10 years' experience, to join our Development Advisory division within our Sydney office.

Altus Group is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 5-10 years' experience, to join our Development Advisory division within our Sydney office.

Reporting to the Associate Director, as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you are passionate about helping clients manage their construction costs and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the various stages of construction.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed and accurate cost analyses, estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies for construction projects.
• Technically proficient at all aspects of pre and post contract QS service
• Client facing and ability to manage clients expectations
• Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors including mentoring of junior employees
• Taking responsibility and ownership for a portfolio of projects across different sectors
• Career development and progression opportunities for employees who demonstrate high performance and excellent attitude;
  
  

Job Requirements

• Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 year's Quantity Surveying experience
• Membership in an approved Professional Body- preferred (eg. AIQS, RICS, CIOB);
• Advanced knowledge of the local construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors;
• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated skills in client file management, planning and organisation.
