Care to join the team? Albury, Full-Time (Maximum term contract). Position to commence beginning of 2026. GenesisCare Oncology in Victoria is seeking a suitably qualified junior medical practitioner who wishes to be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team providing inpatient and outpatient radiation oncology care in both private and public sectors. The position offered is a maximum term contract, with the opportunity to commence in February 2026, based at our Albury centre.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care for radiation oncology inpatients and outpatients treated by our service, with the support and supervision of consultant radiation oncologists. A good work ethic, clear communication skills and a patient-centred approach will be essential for excelling in the role. No prior radiation oncology experience is expected, but an interest in pursuing a career in radiation oncology will be an advantage. Prior registrars at our centre have a strong track record of admission into the accredited radiation oncology training program.

Medical qualifications
  • Current registered practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority
  • Minimum of two years experience post-graduation
  • Compliance as a healthcare provider with credentialing and compliance requirements such as CPD, insurance and immunisation, Basic Life Support certification
