Overview

Health & Security Assistant (M/L 407733409) – Orange Health Service, Western NSW Local Health District.

Providing a quality and safe environment for the care of patients is the shared responsibility of all staff and the Health & Security Assistant is an integral and valued member of our team. Your role provides support to the nursing team under their guidance in the delivery of patient care. We will develop you to reach your potential and will always support you in an inclusive, collaborative and caring team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the nursing team in the delivery of patient care as guided by nursing staff.
  • Work to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Requirements
  • Current NSW Security Industries Licence 1A
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Driver's licence
  • Ability and willingness to work shifts on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Role details
  • Location: Orange, NSW (Orange Health Service, part of Western NSW Local Health District)
  • Hours per week: Up to 38
  • Remuneration: $63,663.60 pa / $32.11 per hour (+ superannuation + salary packaging options)
  • Employment type: Permanent Full Time / Permanent Part Time
