The Opportunity: Entry Level position in Belmont, QLD. We are looking for a Home Care Worker to help older members of the community maintain their home and wellbeing.

In addition, you will need:

  • An Open class Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • An interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential)
The Role

In the role of Home Care Worker you will provide our aged care clients with home help services, such as:

  • General housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
