Job Summary
A challenging 8-month role, with the possibility of extension, focuses on setting up and aligning the testing strategy across three streams: corporate, energy trading, and customer.
The RoleAs a Test Manager/Lead you will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases to align with program objectives.
- Oversee test execution across unit, system integration, performance, and user acceptance tests.
- Lead defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution during development and production releases.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, collaborating with project teams to build quality from the start.
- Manage, mentor, and lead a team of manual and automated testers, ensuring resource alignment.
- Communicate progress, results, and issues to stakeholders while maintaining project quality and milestones.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive software testing experience and leadership skills. You should also have:
- Experience as a Test Manager in a greenfield testing environment.
- Extensive experience in the energy sector, ideally with commercial and industrial customers.
- A strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Expertise in developing and executing test plans, cases, and defect management.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing diverse teams.
