Job Description- Test Lead role within our Jetstar Technology Team.
- Engage in challenging and exciting initiatives.
- 12-month role based at our Collingwood head office with hybrid working options.
The Test Lead will support project rollouts by developing and delivering test plans, scenarios, and cases. You will coordinate testing resources, help define requirements, and ensure accurate, testable requirements while minimizing risk.
Key Responsibilities- Review business requirements and create test plans for successful delivery.
- Develop and review test cases, test status reports, defect logs, and summary reports.
- Manage defect lifecycle and lead triage meetings.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Schedule and manage testing efforts across multiple teams to meet deadlines.
- Support the creation and alignment of team processes with best practices.
- Raise and manage testing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support automation efforts to improve testing efficiency and quality.
- Share knowledge, suggest improvements, and help develop templates and best practices within the Software Testing Practice.
- At least 5 years in a similar role within a complex environment.
- Experience with Jira Xray or similar test management tools.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of testing methodologies, types, and SDLC.
- Good business acumen regarding commercial, operational, and customer impact.
- Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of automation scripting is highly regarded but not essential.
